Scheduled Messages for My Guests

Here are the list of automated messages that I have pre-set to go out to guests once they book my short term rental. Some of the messaging does change a little bit for each property so don’t copy word for word. For example, your glamping tent might not have WIFI. If you use Hospitable too you can just use these same prompts. If you have another software you will have to double check all the prompts are the same.

Request to Book Response: Hi %guest_first_name%, and thanks for your interest in %listing_name%! I have received your request to book from %check_in%, with %guests% for %nights%. The total price would be %total%. I will review your request and come back to you as soon as possible so that you can prepare for your trip accordingly. %answers% If you need any additional information, please do not hesitate to ask. New Reservation: Hi %guest_first_name%, and thanks for your reservation! I wanted to confirm your reservation at %listing_name% starting on %check_in% for %nights% with %guests%. %answers% If you need any additional information, please do not hesitate to ask. I’d be happy to answer any questions you may have. I will contact you again a day before your arrival to give you some additional instructions for a smooth check-in. I look forward to hosting you! Check In Instructions (24 Hours Before Check in): Hi %guest_first_name%, Thanks again for booking at %listing_name%! I’m looking forward to welcoming you on %check_in% at %listing_full_address%. You are welcome to check in from %check_in_hour%, any other check-in time would have to be mutually agreed upon in advance as the %listing_type% may be occupied at that time. Please review our guidebook for more information on the property and the area! %guidebook% Here are some directions that may help you reach the %listing_type%: %listing_directions% The driveway is a little steep, so be prepared. Once at the top, you can park anywhere in the driveway. You will enter the A-frame through the main door located just up the steps on the deck. There is a ring camera located at the entrance. The door has a smartlock and your personal code is %smartlock_code%. For the Check In Instructions I also have an automation setup in Hospitable where if there is no booking immediately following their stay I will offer an upsell at a highly discounted rate. Its completely automated in Hospitable so I don’t even have to do anything to hopefully get an extra night on the booking!

First Morning After Check-In (18 hours after Check in): Hi %guest_first_name%, I hope that you have settled in and that you are enjoying your stay. Evening Before Check-Out (18 hours before Check out): Hi %guest_first_name%, I hope that you are having an excellent stay so far at %listing_name%! I would like to remind you that check-out time is by %check_out_hour%, unless explicitly agreed otherwise. Here are a few items to note before you go: 1. Leave all linens on the bed. 2.Please place any dirty towels in the washer. 3. Remove your contents from the refrigerator. 4. Please start the dishwasher with any dirty dishes. 5. Lock all windows and doors. 6. Please turn the heat to 60 degrees and/or turn AC off. 7. Place tv remote in the center island tray.
